What’s on in North Cornwall

It’s Summer! The sun is shining, the campsite is freshly mown and it’s time to get out and explore this beautiful corner of North Cornwall. We’ve rounded up a few events that you’ll find nearby across the month of August 2024. Where will you head today?

A short drive from Wylde Valley and just 4 minutes from the stunning beaches of Widemouth Bay, Bude, this 360ft long monster slip and slide is a family favourite!

Launch yourself down the monster ramp on the bodyboards and inflatable rings provided. Wetsuits are available to hire and kids under the age of 4 even slide for free.

Open 10am - 5pm everyday throughout the summer holidays.

A magnificent late victorian country house with gardens and wooded estate. Explore adventurous woodland cycle trails, from gentle family-friendly routes to exhilarating mountain bike descents, with bike hire available on site.

Children will love the animal-themed play at Lanhydrock this summer, based around the animals found on Lanhydrock's Long Gallery, with activities and challenges along the way. Jump like a kangaroo, run like a cheetah and balance like a mountain goat as you play your way around Lanhydrock's gardens.

A unique artists studio and garden in the beautiful Cornish coastal village of Boscastle.

Visit as a family or in pairs, working in the Artists studio and sculpture garden. Enjoy a fun and creative morning, try out drawing, printing and sculpture. All abilities are welcome, no experience necessary.

4th, 11th and 18th August

10am - 1pm

Wylde Valley Camping is just a short drive from several of North Cornwall’s stunning coastlines and beaches. Lifeguarded from mid-May to September, enjoy family days out building sandcastles, exploring rock pools and dipping in the sea.
